After more than 15 years exploring music and jazz, always accompanied by other musicians in the studio and on stage, André Rosinha has now decided to venture down a new path – performing as a solo artist. The album Ermo (2026) thus stems from this desire to take on a different challenge, the seed of which was perhaps sown during the pandemic, when he felt unable to make music side by side with his peers.
For this project, André wrote new tracks, adapted others from the past, performed a traditional Portuguese song and also invited Salvador Sobral to join him on an original ballad.
Embracing all the exposure, boldness and transparency that a solo performance demands, Ermo takes us on a journey of introspection, detached and stripped of all adornment.
